Hi !
I teach art in an alternative high school in Brooklyn. I am trying to teach my students how to present a work of art that they have created in class. The first step is writing an statement, or journal entry about their art work. I wanted to use your P. Diddy oil on canvas with the Blue lines on Diddy's face and the abstract pattern of primary colors as an example. Just wondered if you wanted to comment about any of the choices you made when you planned and created this painting. Especially about why you chose to put the blue lines on his face. I know they look a lot like Picasso's way of breaking up the face into shapes for cubism, but I'm not really sure if that's why your did it. ....I know the students will ask. By the way, that painting is really off the hook.
